Engine Vacuum Synchronization Engine vacuum synchronization must be checked and adjusted periodically in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart by a competent mechanic following the procedures in the Service Manual. WARNING Operation with improperly adjusted, incorrectly routed, or damaged cables could result in an unsafe riding condition. Be sure the control cables are adjusted and routed correctly, and are free from damage. the right side fairing (refer to • Install the "Cooling System" section in this chapter). NOTE żPoor engine vacuum synchronization will cause unstable idling, sluggish throttle response, and reduce engine power and performance.

may be damaged. Be sure to correct
