See the "Loading Information" chapter of this manual for more detailed information. Kawasaki does not recommend that you modify your vehicle in any way. Unauthorized modifications may produce dangerous handling conditions or adversely affect vehicle reliability. Loading Your RUV Because any vehicle is sensitive to increases in weight and changes in weight distribution, you must take care in carrying cargo. Refer to the "LOADING INFORMATION" chapter of this manual for guidelines to assist with loading. This vehicle is not designed to carry passengers in the cargo bed. Installing additional passenger seating or carrying passengers in the cargo bed can case changes in vehicle handling. j WARNING Operating this vehicle with improper installation of accessories or modifications of this vehicle can cause changes in handling which in some situations could lead to an accident. Use only genuine Kawasaki accessories installed by a dealer. Additionally, installation of parts and accessories that are not genuine Kawasaki or equivalent parts may cause premature wear and failure on engine, drivetrain and/or other components. As noted in your Kawasaki Limited Warranty, costs for repairs due to the addition of after-market parts or accessories that Kawasaki has not authorized or approved for use with this vehicle are not covered by your warranty. WARNING Passengers riding in the cargo bed can be tossed about or even thrown out causing serious injury or death. Do not install seating or carry passengers in the cargo bed. Cargo should be securely anchored. Make sure the cargo will not move around while the vehicle is moving. Install the cargo net vertically or horizontally depending on the cargo-loading condition.
