Remove the transmission oil drain bolt and the
gasket, and position the vehicle perpendicular to
the ground to allow all the oil to drain.
A. Transmission Oil Drain Bolt and Gasket
WARNING
Transmission oil is a toxic substance. Dis-
pose of used oil properly. Contact your lo-
cal authorities for approved disposal meth-
ods or possible recycling.
•
Install the transmission oil drain bolt with its new
gasket.
•
Tighten it to the specified torque.
Tightening Torque
Transmission Oil Drain Bolt:
20 N·m (2.0 kgf·m, 15 ft·lb)

Pour in the specified amount of fresh transmission
oil.
•
Install the oil filler cap.
•
Check the oil level after kicking the engine over 3
or 4 times.
