NOTE

Shifting Gears
Close the throttle while pulling in the
clutch lever.
Shift into the next higher or lower
gear. For smooth riding, shift up or
down when the motorcycle is oper-
ated the speeds shown in the table
below.
WARNING
Downshifting at high speed can
make the rear wheel skid and
cause an accident resulting in
severe injury or death, as well
