KEYS AND DOORS KEYS If you lose the master keys, contact your Lexus dealer immediately to avoid the possibility of theft, or an accident. You can use up to 4 wireless keys for the same vehicle. Contact your Lexus dealer for detailed information. The wireless remote control key is an electronic component. Observe the following instructions in order not to cause damage to the key. S Do not leave the key on the places where the temperature becomes high such as the dashboard. Master key (black) - The master key works in every lock. Subkey (gray) - The subkey will not open the trunk, trunk main switch and the glovebox. Key number plate - Keep the plate in a safe place such as your wallet, not in the vehicle. To protect things locked in the trunk or glovebox when you have your vehicle parked, leave the subkey with the attendant. Since the doors and trunk lid can be locked without a key, you should always carry a spare master key in case you accidentally lock your keys inside the vehicle. If you should require replacement or additional keys for any reason, contact your Lexus dealer. You should also put a copy of the key number with your important papers. 8 Insert your flat key in its key case as shown. We recommend that you always carry this with you as a spare.
