Use the left side of (1) button for the first digit, the right side of the (2) button for the second digit and the left side of the (3) button for the last digit. Pressing once will display "0," so press each button once more than the number you want to input. For example, if your number is 420, press the (1) button five times, the (2) button three times and the (3) button once. If the display returns to "---" while inputting, try again. We recommend that your identification number be associated with something easy to remember. In case you are unsure of the number, write it in a notebook you normally carry.
