STARTING AND DRIVING CAUTION To ensure that the dynamic laser cruise control system will function properly while driving, observe the following: D Always keep the laser radar sensor glass clean. When cleaning, use a soft cloth and be careful not to damage the sensor. D Avoid strong impacts around the laser radar sensor. An incorrect laser radar sensor alignment will result in system malfunction. A special device is required to adjust the laser radar sensor alignment. Be sure to have the sensor adjusted by your Lexus dealer. D Do not disassemble the laser radar sensor. D Do not affix a sticker (including a transparent sticker) or attach an accessory around the laser radar sensor. (i) Vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode failure warning 31L333 If there is trouble somewhere in the dynamic radar/laser cruise control while the vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode is on, the "CRUISE" indicator light in the instrument cluster flashes, the master warning light comes on and the warning tone sounds, and one or more of the following warning messages will appear on the multi-information display. D "Clean Radar Sensor" D "Cruise not Available" D "Check Cruise System" If any warning message shown above appears, the preset speed automatically cancels out. 349
