KEYS AND DOORS Locking with back door child−protector THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM 11X601a 17x503 " 1 Lock 2 Unlock Whenever small children are in the vehicle, lock the back door so that it does not open by the inside door handle. To do this, move the lever to the "LOCK" position as shown and then close the back door. To deter theft of the vehicle, this system is designed to sound an alarm if any of the doors or hood is forcibly unlocked or the battery terminal is disconnected and then reconnected while the vehicle is locked. The alarm blows the horn intermittently and flashes the headlights, tail lights and other exterior lights. 25
