OTHER FUNCTIONS - DVD player operation The DVD player can play audio CDs, DVD video discs, CD texts, dts−CDs, DVD audio discs and video CDs. For appropriate discs for this player, see "Caring for your DVD player and discs" on page 153. For safety reasons, you can enjoy DVD video discs, DVD audio discs and video CDs only when the vehicle is completely stopped with the ignition switch in the "ACC" or "ON" position and the parking brake applied. While you are driving, you can hear audio alone even in the DVD video discs, DVD audio discs or video CD mode. When you set discs into the player, make sure they face the correct way. If not, "DISC CHECK" will appear on the screen. " Cursor Use the joy stick to select the switch on the rear screen. Push the "ENT" button to touch and enter the switches on the rear screen. If you do not operate anything, the cursor will disappear 6 seconds later. For the detailed instructions to use the navigation system, read from the "Introduction" through "Section III" of this manual.
