4-3. Do-it-yourself maintenance n How to initialize the tire pressure warning system STEP 1 Park the vehicle in safe place and turn off the hybrid system. While the vehicle is moving, initialization is not performed. STEP 2 Adjust the tire inflation pressure to the specified cold tire inflation pressure level. (→P. 439) Make sure to adjust the tire pressure to the specified cold tire inflation pressure level. The tire pressure warning system will operate based on this pressure level. STEP 3 STEP 4 Turn the engine switch to the ON position. Push and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch until the tire pressure warning light blinks slowly three times. 4 STEP 5 Wait for a few minutes with the engine switch is in the ON position, and then turn the engine switch to the OFF position. How to initialize the tire pressure warning system
Park the vehicle in safe place and turn off the hybrid system.
While the vehicle is moving, initialization is not performed.
Adjust the tire inflation pressure to the specified cold tire inflation
pressure level. (

Make sure to adjust the tire pressure to the specified cold tire inflation
pressure level. The tire pressure warning system will operate based on
this pressure level.
Turn the engine switch to the ON position.
Push and hold the tire pressure
warning reset switch until the tire
pressure
warning
light
blinks
slowly three times.
Wait for a few minutes with the engine switch is in the ON posi-
tion, and then turn the engine switch to the OFF position.
