Seating and Safety Restraints The heated seats will activate when the ignition is in the RUN position. When activated, they will turn off automatically after 10 minutes or when the ignition is turned to the OFF position. The indicator lights will illuminate when each heated seat has been activated. Split-folding rear seatbacks One or both rear seatbacks can be folded down to provide additional cargo space. To lower the seatback(s), pull the release handle(s) located inside the trunk. Fold the seatback(s) down. Before returning the seatback to its original position, make sure that cargo or any objects are not trapped behind the seatback. After returning the seatback to its original position, pull on the seatback to ensure that it has fully latched. An unlatched seat may become dangerous in the event of a sudden stop or collision.
