Lincoln Limousine Limited Warranty If you have purchased or leased a 2008-model Lincoln Town Car (equipped with the 418 or 419 Builder's Package) or Lincoln Navigator L (equipped with the 17L Builder's Package) converted into a limousine, six-door professional funeral car or hearse, by a Lincoln Qualified Vehicle Modifier, your Town Car or Navigator L is eligible for the Lincoln Limousine Limited Warranty coverage: Town Car (with 418 Builder's Package) for four years or 150,000 miles (whichever occurs first); Town Car with 419 Builder's Package for six years or 100,000 miles (whichever occurs first); and Navigator L for four years or 100,000 miles (whichever occurs first). This coverage begins on the Warranty Start Date and is in addition to the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Refer to the warranty addendum card that was given to you when you took delivery of your 2008-model Lincoln Limousine or funeral coach or hearse for details of the Lincoln Limousine Limited Warranty. See page 30 for additional details about the 418, 419 and 17L Limousine Builder's Packages. WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY? Damage Caused By: • accidents, collision or objects striking the vehicle (including driving through a car wash) • theft, vandalism, or riot • fire or explosion • using contaminated or improper fuel/fluids • customer-applied chemicals or accidental spills • driving through water deep enough to cause water to be ingested into the engine • misuse of the vehicle, such a driving over curbs, overloading, racing or using the vehicle as a permanent stationary power source Damage Caused by Alteration or Modification The New Vehicle Limited Warranty does not cover any damage caused by: • alterations or modifications of the vehicle, including the body, chassis, or components, after the vehicle leaves the control of Ford Motor Company 10
