Lights Fog lamp control With the ignition on, the fog lamps can be turned on when the headlamp control is pulled toward you and is in any of the following positions: • Parking lamps • Low beams • Autolamps (when active) The fog lamp indicator light will illuminate when the fog lamps have been turned on. The fog lamps will not operate when the high beams are active. High beams • Push the lever toward the instrument panel to activate. • Pull the lever toward you to deactivate. OFF Flash-to-pass Pull toward you slightly to activate and release to deactivate. Daytime running lamps (DRL) (if equipped) Turns the headlamps on with a reduced intensity output (halogen headlamps) or turns the front fog lamps on (HID headlamp). 53 2011 MKZ (378) Owners Guide, 2nd Printing USA (fus)
