Adjusting the panel register airflow The instrument panel registers may be adjusted to your comfort needs. The thumbwheel controls the volume of air and the knob in the center of the register controls direction up or down or side to side. Controlling the airflow from panel registers The Semi Automatic Temperature Control System (If equipped) System Characteristics The Semi Automatic Temperature Control System (SATC) is designed to provide comfort consistent with the temperature setting you select. The discharge air temperature and fan speed will be automatically controlled to bring the vehicle to the desired set temperature, as fast as possible, and then gradually be changed to maintain that temperature. The system also gives you the capability of manually adjusting the location of the discharge air and fan speed for desired comfort or specific operating requirements. 77
