Defrostingordefogging
Thismodedirectstheairtothedefrostoutletsto
defrost/defogthewindows.
1. Turn the air flow control dial to the
position.
2.
Turnthefancontroldialtothedesiredposition.
3. Turn the temperature control dial to the de-
sired position between the middle and the
hotposition.

conditioner automatically turns on (however,
the indicator light will not illuminate) if the
outsidetemperatureismorethan36°F(2°C).
Ifthesystemisindefrostmodeformorethan
one minute, the air conditioning system will
continuetooperateuntilthefancontroldialis
turnedtoOFForthevehicleisshutoff,evenif
theairflowcontroldialisturnedtoaposition
otherthanthe
position.Thisdehumidi-
fiestheairwhichhelpsdefogthewindshield.
