Torque Lock If you are parking on a and you don't shift your hill transaxle into PARK (P) properly, the weight of the vehicle may put too much force on the parking pawlin pull the transaxle. This is called "torque lock." prevent torquelock, set the parking brake and then shift leave the driver's into PARK (P) properly before you seat.
