Torque Lock If you are parking on a and you don't shift your hill transaxle into PARK (P) properly, the weight of the vehicle may put too much force on the parking pawlin pull the transaxle. You may find it difficult to the shift To lever out of PARK (p). This is called "torque lock." prevent torquelock, set the parking brake and then shift leave the driver's into PARK (P) properly before you seat. To find out how,see "Shifting Into PARK (P)" in the Index. When youare ready to drive, move shift lever out of the PARK (P) before you releasethe parking brake.
