INSTRUMENTS, FEATURES AND CONTROLS Tachometer (Accessory) Some models are equipped with a tachometer (1). An accessory tachometer kit can also be purchased as an accessory through your VICTORY dealer. The tachometer reports current engine speed in revolutions per minute (RPM). A red line on the gauge indicates maximum safe engine RPM. With tachometer installed, the trip odometerresetbutton(2)islocatedontheinstrumentmountingplate. See page 39. 1 2 WARNING Do not operate the engine over 5600 RPM. Excessive RPM could cause engine damage or failure that could result in you losing control of the motorcycle.
