Features and Controls Kick-Start Lever If the battery becomes too weak to start the engine, use the kick-start lever to start the engine until the battery is serviced. 1. Position the vehicle on a level surface. 2. Shift the transmission to neutral. 3. Lock the parking brake. 4. Fold out the kick-start lever on the left side of the ATV. NOTE: A 10/12mm wrench is provided in the tool kit for removing or installing the lever. If not installed, make sure the rubber cap is on the kick-start shaft to protect the rider. Store the lever under the seat when it's not installed. 5. Push the engine stop switch up to the ON position. 6. Turn the key to ON. Kick-Start Lever 7. Place your foot on the kick-start, then thrust your heel downward to crank the engine. 8. After the engine has started, fold the kick-start lever back into place. 82

Features and Controls
Kick-Start Lever
If the battery becomes too weak to start the engine, use the
kick-start lever to start the engine until the battery is serviced.
1.
Position the vehicle on a level surface.
2.
Shift the transmission to neutral.
3.
Lock the parking brake.
4.
Fold out the kick-start lever on the left side of the ATV.
NOTE:
A 10/12mm wrench is provided in the tool kit for removing
or installing the lever. If not installed, make sure the rubber
cap is on the kick-start shaft to protect the rider. Store the
lever under the seat when it’s not installed.
5.
Push the engine stop switch up to the ON position.
6.
Turn the key to ON.
7.
Place your foot on the kick-start, then thrust your heel
downward to crank the engine.
8.
After the engine has started, fold the kick-start lever back into place.
