MAINTENANCE Initial Maintenance Perform the initial maintenance after you've ridden your new motorcycle 500 miles (800 kilometers). This maintenance is one of the most important services your motorcycle requires and should be performed by an authorized VICTORY dealer. Initial maintenance includes servicing all adjustments, tightening all fasteners, and changing engine oil. Performing this maintenance at the required mileage point helps the engine maintain top performance for its entire service life. Periodic Maintenance Intervals Use the following table to determine how often you should perform maintenance on various components. For additional information on maintenance operations for each component listed in the table, refer to the instructions in this section. If you regularly ride your motorcycle at high or low speed for extended periods of time, or in dusty or other adverse conditions, perform the required maintenance more frequently to help keep your motorcycle in safe operating condition.
