FEATURES AND CONTROLS Automatic Transmission Gear Selector The transmission gear selector is located on the right side of the vehicle. H: High Gear L: Low Gear N: Neutral R: Reverse P: Park To shift gears, brake to a complete stop. When the engine is idling, move the lever to the desired gear. Gear Selector NOTICE: Shifting gears with the engine speed above idle or while the vehicle is moving could cause transmission damage. Whenever the ATV is left unattended, always place the transmission in PARK and lock the parking brake. Belt Life To extend belt life, use low forward gear when pulling a heavy load at less than seven miles per hour for extended periods and when operating uphill at a slow speed. Choke The choke assists in starting a cold engine. Refer to the engine starting procedure on page 47 for correct choke and throttle settings during starting. Fuel Valve Fuel Valve The fuel valve is located under the electrical access panel. OFF: For vehicle storage and when transporting. ON: For normal operation. ON OFF 33

Automatic Transmission Gear Selector
The transmission gear selector is
located on the right side of the vehicle.
H:
High Gear
L:
Low Gear
N: Neutral
R:
Reverse
P:
Park
To shift gears, brake to a complete
stop. When the engine is idling, move
the lever to the desired gear.
NOTICE:
Shifting gears with the engine speed above idle or while the vehicle is
moving could cause transmission damage.
Whenever the ATV is left unattended, always place the transmission in
PARK and lock the parking brake.
Belt Life
To extend belt life, use low forward gear when pulling a heavy load at
less than seven miles per hour for extended periods and when operating

Choke
The choke assists in starting a cold
