FEATURES AND CONTROLS Trailer Hitch Bracket This vehicle is equipped with a receiver hitch bracket for a trailer hitch. Trailer towing equipment is not supplied with this vehicle. To avoid injury and property damage, always heed the warnings and towing capacities outlined on pages 35-36. Brake Pedal Push the brake pedal toward the floor to slow or stop the vehicle. Apply the brakes before turning the key on. Accelerator Pedal The accelerator pedal will function only when the key is ON and the direction selector switch is set to either forward or reverse. To begin moving or to increase vehicle speed, gradually push the accelerator pedal toward the floor. Holding the accelerator pedal down continuously will accelerate the vehicle to the maximum speed. To slow the vehicle, release the accelerator pedal. Electric motor braking provides braking when the pedal is released. For additional speed control or to stop the vehicle, apply the service brakes. Brake Pedal Accelerator Pedal Roll-Over Protection System (ROPS) The Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS) on this vehicle meets OSHA 1928.53 rollover performance requirements. Always have your authorized POLARIS dealer thoroughly inspect the ROPS if it ever becomes damaged in any way. No device can assure occupant protection in the event of a rollover. Always follow all safe operating practices outlined in this manual to avoid vehicle rollover. WARNING! Vehicle rollover could cause severe injury or death. Always avoid operating in a manner that could result in vehicle rollover. ROPS Cab Frame Seat Removal Pull up on the front of the seat to disengage the front latches. Slide the seat forward and lift it away from the seat base. To reinstall the seat, align the rear seat tabs with the slots on the rear of the seat base. Slide the seat fully rearward, then push down firmly along the front edge of the seat to secure the latches. 27

Trailer Hitch Bracket
This vehicle is equipped with a receiver hitch bracket for a trailer hitch. Trailer towing equip-
ment is not supplied with this vehicle.
To avoid injury and property damage, always heed the warnings and towing capacities out-
lined on pages 35-36.
Brake Pedal
Push the brake pedal toward the floor to slow or stop the vehicle. Apply the brakes before
turning the key on.
Accelerator Pedal
The accelerator pedal will function only when the key is
