Maintenance Engine Oil Oil Recommendations Always check and change the engine oil at the intervals outlined in the Periodic Maintenance Chart beginning on page 94. POLARIS recommends the use of POLARIS PS-4 Extreme Duty 4-Cycle engine oil or an equivalent oil for this vehicle. Oil may need to be changed more frequently if POLARIS oil is not used. Do not use automotive oil. See page 159 for the part numbers of POLARIS products. NOTICE: Mixing brands or using a non-recommended oil may cause serious engine damage. Always use the recommended oil. Never substitute or mix oil brands. 104
