Leaking fuel can catch fire. 2 Fuel level CAUTION: @ G G G G @ Oxygenated fuels (gasohol) containing a maximum 5% of ethanol can be used, although richer jetting may be required to prevent engine damage. Consult a Yamaha dealer. Gasohol containing methanol is not recommended. Make sure that snow or ice does not enter the fuel tank when refueling. Do not use alcohol deicers or water absorbing additives with oxygenated fuel. The fuel tank should be filled with straight gasoline as specified. ESU00083 Engine oil Make sure that there is sufficient oil in the oil tank. Oil tank capacity: 3.3 L (2.9 Imp qt, 3.5 US qt) Recommended oil: YAMALUBE 2-cycle oil ESU00086 Coolant Check the coolant level in the coolant reservoir when the engine is cold. If the coolant level is below the "COLD LEVEL" mark, add soft water until it reaches the "COLD LEVEL" mark.
