NOTE: Apply the parking brake before replacement. 1. Remove the drive V-belt guard. 2. Rotate the secondary sliding sheave clockwise 1 and push 2 it so that it separates from the fixed sheave. 3. Pull 3 the belt up over the secondary fixed sheave. 4. Remove the belt from the secondary sheave and primary sheave. 805-002 805-003 5. Install the new belt over the primary sheave. 6. Rotate the secondary sliding sheave clockwise 4 and push 5 it so that it separates from the fixed sheave. 805-004 7. Install the belt 6 between the secondary sliding and fixed sheaves. 8. Install the drive V-belt guard. 805-005 WARNING Never run the engine without the drive V-belt or with the drive V-belt guard removed. 8-12

NOTE:

1. Remove the drive V-belt guard.
2. Rotate the secondary sliding sheave clockwise

push

it so that it separates from the fixed sheave.
3. Pull

the belt up over the secondary fixed sheave.
4. Remove the belt from the secondary sheave and pri-
mary sheave.
5. Install the new belt over the primary sheave.
6. Rotate the secondary sliding sheave clockwise

and
push

it so that it separates from the fixed sheave.
7. Install the belt

between the secondary sliding and
fixed sheaves.
8. Install the drive V-belt guard.
WARNING
Never run the engine without the drive V-belt or with
the drive V-belt guard removed.
