ESU00097 Drive track Check the drive track for deflection, wear, or damage. Adjust or replace if necessary. (See pages 8-22-8-24 for more details.) WARNING @ Do not operate the snowmobile if you find damage to the drive track, or if it has been maladjusted. Drive track damage or failure could result in loss of braking ability and snowmobile control, which could cause an accident. @ ESU00243 51-mm (2.0-in) high-profile pattern drive track This snowmobile is originally equipped with a 51-mm (2.0-in) high-profile pattern drive track specifically for use in deep snow riding conditions. Therefore, avoid prolonged operation on hard surfaces such as ice, hard-packed snow, dirt, etc., to extend the life of the track and slide runners. CAUTION: @ G G Only use in deep snow riding conditions. Operation on areas with light snowfall, ice, hardpacked snow, dirt, or grass will result in rapid wear or damage to the track and slide runners from lack of snow which serves as a lubricant. @ ESU00982 Slide runners Check the slide runners for wear and damage. If the slide runners reach the wear limit, they should be replaced. 1 Slide runners a Wear limit Wear limit height: 10.5 mm (0.41 in) CAUTION: @ Ride on fresh snow frequently. Operating on ice or hard packed snow will rapidly wear the slide runners. @ 6-6
