EWB00660 WARNING POTENTIAL HAZARD Improperly operating in reverse. WHAT CAN HAPPEN You could hit an obstacle or even a person behind you, resulting in serious injury. HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD When you shift into reverse, make sure there are no people or obstacles behind you. When it is safe to proceed, go slowly. EBU20550 1. Shift pedal 2. Neutral position EBU20600 6 Shifting This ATV has a 5-speed forward transmission with a centrifugal, automatic clutch. The transmission allows you to control the amount of power you have available at a given speed or for starting accelerating, climbing, etc. To shift into neutral, return the throttle lever to the closed position and repeatedly depress the shift pedal until it stops. To start out and accelerate 1. Release the throttle lever. ECB00200 CAUTION: Always close the throttle before shifting gears, otherwise damage to the engine and drive train may result. 2.
