INSTRUMENT AND CONTROL FUNCTIONS EAU14613 Saddlebags [XV17ATW(C)] EWA11111 To open a saddlebag Unbuckle the belts and fold up the flap. EAU35890 Sidecases [XV17ATMW(C)] EWA12520 WARNING Improper loading or overloading can cause loss of control and possibly an accident or personal injury. See pages 1-5 and 6-17 for important loading and tire pressure information. G Always securely close each saddlebag before riding. G Distribute weight evenly on each side of the motorcycle. G Do not exceed the load limit of 5 kg (11 lb) for each saddlebag. G Do not exceed the maximum load of 179 kg (395 lb) for the vehicle. G Do not exceed 120 km/h (80 mi/h) when riding with luggage in the sidecases, otherwise handling could be affected. Improper loading, poor tire or overall motorcycle conditions, poor road surfaces or adverse weather conditions may make it necessary to further reduce the riding speed.
