Simply push the stop switch to stop the engine. To start the engine, pull the stop switch and proceed with starting the engine. (See page 32 for engine starting procedures.) Self-diagnosis device This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis device for various electrical circuits. If a problem is detected in any of those circuits, the warning light and the self-diagnosis warning indicator flash, and an error code flashes slowly in the tripmeter/odometer display. Note the error code, and then have a Yamaha dealer inspect the snowmobile as soon as possible. NOTICE: Do not continue to operate the engine longer than necessary if there is an error code to avoid possible engine damage. [ECS00820] 1.
