Example QoS Configurations 75 Example QoS Configurations Figure 17 shows a simple example of how QoS can be implemented on a university campus. It shows how traffic receives the appropriate prioritization and treatment across the network according to the applications used (traffic type), at which location the end user is located, and also the port type upon which the data is received. All of this is determined by the setup of the QoS profiles applied to the Switch port.
