118 APPENDIX E: TROUBLESHOOTING ATM LEDs The following ﬁgure describes the ATM LEDs. Select Link Active Fault Normal operation Link Lights green when the path is up. Active Lights green when data is moving. Fault Unlit in normal operation. Lights amber if an error in the frames is detected. Select Lights green to indicate which interface is active on the module. Error LED Meanings This section describes the error modes of the PathBuilder switch LEDs. Troubleshooting During the Load Phase If the Load and Power/Fault LEDs in the System area light amber, a problem occurred during the system software load phase. Compare your System LEDs with the following examples and follow the instructions for troubleshooting. Status Amber SYSTEM Run Load Test Fwd Amber Power /Fault Meaning: The ﬁle system is empty. Action: Reload the software. See Appendix F.
