106 CHAPTER 8: CONFIGURING VLANS ■ Select port to add to the VLAN - Adds a selected port to the VLAN. ■ Select Membership Type - Displays the membership type for each VLAN. The possible field values are: ■ Untagged - Indicates the interface is an untagged member of the VLAN. ■ Tagged - Indicates the interface is a tagged member of a VLAN. VLAN tagged packets are forwarded by the interface. The packets contain VLAN information. ■ Not a Member - Indicates the interface is not a member of the VLAN. ■ Not Available for Selection - Indicates the interface is not available for selection. ■ Select All - Allows the user to select all ports to be added to the VLAN. ■ Select None - Removes the ports selected. To rename VLANs: 1 Select a VLAN from the list to be renamed. 2 Click Rename. The VLANs are renamed, and the device is updated. To add ports to a VLAN 1 Select a VLAN to modify. 2 Select the membership type for the selected port. 3 Select ports to be added to the selected VLAN. 4 Click Apply. The selected ports are added to the VLAN, and the device is updated.
