2.8 M.2_SSD (NGFF) Module Installation Guide The M.2, also known as the Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF), is a small size and versatile card edge connector that aims to replace mPCIe. Please note that this M.2 Socket (Key E) supports type 2230 WiFi/BT module only. Installing the M.2_SSD (NGFF) Module Step 1 This motherboard supports type 2230 WiFi/BT module only. Prepare a 3cm PCB lenth of module and the screw. Peel off the yellow protective film on the nut. Step 2 Align and gently insert the type 2230 WiFi/BT module into the M.2 slot. Please be aware that the module only fits in one orientation. B A Step 3 Tighten the screw with a screwdriver to secure the module into place. Please do not overtighten the screw as this might damage the module. M.2_SSD (NGFF) Module Installation Guide
The M.2, also known as the Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF), is a small size
and versatile card edge connector that aims to replace mPCIe. Please note that
this M.2 Socket (Key E) supports type 2230 WiFi/BT module only.
Installing the M.2_SSD (NGFF) Module
Step 1
This motherboard supports
type 2230 WiFi/BT module only.
Prepare a 3cm PCB lenth of
module and the screw. Peel off the
yellow protective film on the nut.
Step 2
Align and gently insert the type
2230 WiFi/BT module into the
M.2 slot. Please be aware that the
module only fits in one orientation.
Step 3
Tighten the screw with a
screwdriver to secure the
module into place. Please do not
overtighten the screw as this might
damage the module.
