If you just want to install Windows® 2000, Windows® XP, Windows® XP 64-bit, Windows® VistaTM or Windows® VistaTM 64-bit on your SATA HDDs without RAID functions, you don't have to make a SATA driver diskette. Besides, there is no need for you to change the BIOS setting. You can start to install Windows® 2000, Windows® XP, Windows® XP 64-bit, Windows® VistaTM or Windows® VistaTM 64-bit on your system directly. 2.11 Installing Windows® 2000 / XP / XP 64-bit With RAID Functions Since the chipset vendor does not provide Windows® VistaTM / VistaTM 64-bit RAID driver, RAID function is not available on this motherboard under Windows® VistaTM / VistaTM 64-bit OS. RAID function is only available under Windows® 2000, XP or XP 64-bit OS.
