2.6 Smart Switches The motherboard has two smart switches: Rear Button Switch and Clear CMOS Button/Power Button. Rear Button Switch (REAR_BTN_SEL1) (see p.1, No. 13) A B Rear Button Switch allows users to easily adjust the function of the Clear CMOS Button/Power Button on the rear panel I/O. A: Clear CMOS Button (default); B: Power Button Clear CMOS Button/ Power Button (REAR_BTN) (see p.5, No. 13) The function of this button can be adjusted by the Rear Button Switch. Clear CMOS Button (default) allows users to quickly clear the CMOS values. Power Button allows users to quickly turn on/off the system. Clear CMOS is workable only when you power off your computer and unplug the power supply. English 26
