All inputs that have been saved in the MenuCards remain intact when you exit the menu. 1.4 Key extensions With a key extension you can extend your Aastra 6773/6773ip (OpenPhone 73/ 73 IP) and Aastra 6775/6775ip (OpenPhone 75/75 IP) system telephone with additional freely programmable keys. The main menu and call number functions can be stored on these keys. Your system administrator can also program call keys for your key extension over the communications system's. configuration software. Up to three key extensions can be connected to system telephones: either three Key extensions of the Aastra M671/KeyExtension 73P model or three Key extensions of the Aastra M676/KeyExtension 75D model. A combination of these key extensions is, however, not possible. Note: You will need an adapter plug (Product code 4516000; in Britain an adapter plug with the product code 4516001) to provide a power supply. The adapter plug is connected to the outermost key extension. An IP system telephone does not need a adapter plug if it receives power from the AC power network ("Power over Ethernet", see also the chapter on IP Telephones (Voice over IP) starting on page 67). 32

Key extensions
With a key extension you can extend your Aastra 6773/6773ip (OpenPhone 73/
73 IP) and Aastra 6775/6775ip (OpenPhone 75/75 IP) system telephone with addi-
