Preparing the MediaRemote for use 0 Before using the MediaRemote as a detachable device, ensure the battery is fully charged. The MediaRemote is already paired with the computer. Status light 0 The status light (just above the Touchpad Mode button) indicates connection and battery status. Table 1-2. Status light Light No light Blue Blue flash Slow orange flash Quick orange flash Charging Fully charged Description The MediaRemote has not been used for 15 minutes and is in sleep mode. The MediaRemote is active and attached to the computer. The MediaRemote is active and not attached to the computer. Battery power is low (less than 40%). Battery power is very low (less than 20%). The MediaRemote will enter sleep mode after three minutes of inactivity. The light shows amber when the battery is charging. The light shows blue. Touchpad commands 0 The function of the touchpad varies, depending on the current setting. Table 1-3.
