14 - Using the keyboard Hotkey Icon + + + + + + < > + < > Function Description Touchpad Turns the built-in touchpad on toggle and off. Speaker toggle Turns the speakers on and off. Keyboard backlight decrease Decreases the intensity of the keyboard backlight. Keyboard backlight increase Increases the intensity of the keyboard backlight. NumLk Turns the embedded numeric keypad on or off. Brightness up Increases the screen brightness. Brightness Decreases the screen down brightness. + < > Volume up Increases the sound volume. + < > Volume down Decreases the sound volume. Windows keys The keyboard has two keys that perform Windows-specific functions. Key Description Windows key Pressed alone it returns to the Start screen or to return to the last open app. It can also be used with other keys for special functions, please check Windows Help.
