Inserting a SIM card Getting started with your tablet - 7 Warning Do not force the SIM card. If it does not fit, ensure you have the SIM card properly oriented as illustrated. Trying to force the SIM card into the slot when it is incorrectly oriented may damage the SIM card and/or your tablet. To insert the SIM card, remove the cover and turn the tablet upside down. Insert the SIM card with the gold-colored connectors facing down and gently press until the SIM card clicks into place (see illustration). SD SIM 1 SIM 2 Note The tablet must be powered off before inserting the SIM card. The tablet will not automatically detect the SIM card if it is inserted while the tablet is powered on. Reboot the tablet to detect the SIM card. Turning on for the first time To turn on your tablet, press and hold the power button until you see the Acer logo. Wait a moment for your tablet to boot up. You will then be asked some questions before you can use your tablet.

Inserting a SIM card
To insert the SIM card, remove the cover and turn the tablet upside
down. Insert the SIM card with the gold-colored connectors facing
down and gently press until the SIM card clicks into place (see
illustration).
Turning on for the first time
To turn on your tablet, press and hold the power button until you see
the Acer logo. Wait a moment for your tablet to boot up. You will then
be asked some questions before you can use your tablet.
