Checking Jumper Settings The following illustration shows the location of the motherboard jumpers. Pin 1 is labeled. Jumper CLR_CMOS BIOS_WP BIOS_TBL Type 3-pin 3-pin 3-pin Description Clear CMOS Setting (Default) 1-2: CLEAR CMOS 2-3: NORMAL Before clearing the CMOS, make sure to turn off the system CLR_CMOS 1 BIOS_WP 1-2: FLASH WRITE UNPROTECTED 2-3: FLASH WRITE PROTECTED BIOS_WP 1 BIOS_TBL 1-2: BOOT BLOCK DISABLE 2-3: BOOT BLOCK ENABLE BIOS_TBL 1 68 Chapter 5
