Windows NT 4.0 To install the cda1000.sys driver when Windows NT 4.0 is already installed, follow these steps: 1 Start Windows NT. 2 Click the Start button on the Windows NT task bar, and then point to Settings. 3 Click the Control Panel. 4 Double-click the SCSI Adapters icon. 5 Click the Drivers tab, and then click the Add button. 6 In the Install Driver window, click the Have Disk button. 7 Insert the Adaptec Array1000CA Family Manager Set drivers diskette into drive A; enter the following path to the installation files and then click OK. a:\winnt The Adaptec Array1000CA Family Adapter is highlighted by default. 8 In the Install Driver window, Click OK. 9 Click the New button when asked if you want to use the cur- rently installed driver(s) or install new one(s). 10 Type a:\winnt again, and click Continue. The driver is now installed. 4-6
