In the example shown in this section, a RAID 1 logical device is being changed to a RAID 5 logical device. 5 In the Logical Devices panel, select the disk drives you want to use in the modified logical drive. Adaptec Storage Manager prompts you to select the correct number of disk drives, as shown below. Number of disk drives required If you want to remove a specific disk drive and replace it with another one (for instance, replace a smaller disk drive with a larger one), click on the disk drive you want to remove.
