Storage Manager on ROM The Information tab for a controller displays general information reported by that controller. Fields may have special conditions: Model Serial # NVRAM Ver. Cache Revision FW Type ECC SCSI/ATA Bus Width buses SCSI ID Transfer Host Bus Bus Type Transfer Attached Modules Controller model number Controller serial number Version number for NVRAM settings Amount of installed cache memory Controller firmware revision Firmware type Yes if Error Correction Code (ECC) memory is installed Bus width: 8-bit (Narrow) or 16-bit (Wide) Number of buses on the controller SCSI ID assigned to controller (SCSI only) Maximum possible transfer rate PCI 32-bit or Adaptec 2400A/2100S PCI 64-bit for Adaptec 3200S/3210S/3400S/3410S Host PCI transfer rate: 132 MB/sec for Adaptec 2400A 132 MB/sec for Adaptec 2100S 264 MB/sec for Adaptec 3200S/3400S 528 MB/sec for Adaptec 3210S/3410S Memory modules are reported as Bank x: xxMB ECC, starting with Bank 0. ECC is displayed only when ECC memory is installed. Note: Adaptec RAID controllers report a cache size 16 MB less than the total installed memory value because the controller uses the first 16 MB as processor RAM. 2-14
