Antenna Installatio Caution Before installing the Indoor Omni Antenna please make sure the antenna of the wireless device (i.e., Access Point, Wireless Router, Wireless PCI Card, Wireless USB Adapter) is removable by examining the base of the antenna to see if it is a screw on type. Please do not pull the antenna out by force as this will damage the wireless device. Remove one default antenna from the wireless device by unscrewing it from the base. TIPolina Remove and unscrew counter-clockwise Attach the SMA Connector of the Indoor Omni Antenna to the wireless device. Screw in the Reverse SMA plug clockwise Antenna Device Connector Connector (RPSMA-plug) (RPSMA-jack) Step 3 After the Indoor Omni Antenna is attached to the wireless device, position the Indoor Omni Antenna vertically on a level surface (away from nearby obstacles) and place the wireless device in an unobstructed location. Caution: Avoid direct contact with high gain wireless signals. Keep at least a minimum distance of one feet when in operation. * If your Wireless Router/Access Point has two antennas, leave the second antenna attached to the Wireless Router/Access Point; do not remove it. For extending the physical range of the wireless signal, two high-gain antennas pointed at each other is mandatory. ** Please use the included rubber footing for desk mounting. 02
