Your telephone's memory is shared between several functions: directory, diary, messages, voice messages, voice recognition, images and melodies. For example, if you use a lot of memory for your voice memos, you will have less memory available for the directory. Don't forget to delete heavy items such as voice memos, MMS, images, photos, recorded sounds...in order to free up memory space.You can also delete certain items included in your telephone when you bought it. 9.7 Voice memo The voice memo feature acts as a Dictaphone and enables you to record personal messages. To record a voice memo, select "Voice memo", then "Save", and begin speaking after the beep. Once the voice memo has been created, you can access the following options: Listen to Hands-free Title • Listen to a recorded voice memo. • Switch between hands-free and discreet mode. • Modify the name of the memo. Memo->album • Copy the memo to your sound album (to send it by MMS or use it as a ringtone). Delete • Delete the selected memo. Back • Return to the previous screen. Exit • Return to the main screen. 9.8 Infrared Your phone's infrared feature allows you to exchange contacts and diary data via an infrared link.The infrared port is situated on the left hand side of your telephone. Receiving data To receive data, you must activate the infrared feature. A message will advise you of the arrival of data; you then save the data by pressing the key or reject it using the key. Once you have selected the option, the icon appears at the bottom of your screen. Infrared will be deactivated automatically after a short while. If you use infrared often, we advise that you set a quick access to it from the keypad (see page 46). Infrared
Your phone’s infrared feature allows you to exchange contacts and diary data via an infrared link.The infrared
port is situated on the left hand side of your telephone.
Sending data
To send data, select the directory file, then select the “
Data transfer
” option. It is not necessary to activate
the infrared feature before sending.
Receiving data
