Motherboard Placement This section tells how the motherboard is placed into the chassis in case you need to remove and re-install it in the future. NOTE The motherboard and other internal components of the AP1400R server are already installed as indicated in the section "Internal Components". Refer to the motherboard user's manual for detailed technical information about the motherboard. Placement Direction When installing the motherboard, make sure that you place it into the chassis correctly. The edge with the external ports goes to the back panel of the chassis. Back Panel Motherboard Screws Place 11 screws in the holes indicated by circles to secure the motherboard to the chassis. Do not overtighten the screws. Doing so may damage the motherboard. Motherboard Placement
This section tells how the motherboard is placed into the chassis in
case you need to remove and re-install it in the future.
Placement Direction
When
installing
the
motherboard, make sure
that you place it into the
chassis correctly. The
edge with the external
ports goes to the back
panel of the chassis.
Motherboard Screws
Place 11 screws in the holes
indicated by circles to
secure the motherboard to
the
chassis.
Do
not
overtighten the screws.
Doing so may damage the
motherboard.
The two holes marked by
solid white circles are for
securing the CPU fan tube.
