2.5 ASUS MyLogo 2™ ASUS MyLogo 2™ allows you to customize the boot logo. The boot logo is the image that appears on the screen during the Power‑On Self-Test (POST). ASUS MyLogo 2 is automatically installed when you install the ASUS Update utility from the Support DVD. See 2.3.3 Utilities menu for details. • Before using ASUS MyLogo 2, use the ASUS Update or AFUDOS utilities to make a copy of your original BIOS file or obtain the latest BIOS version from the ASUS website. • Set the Full Screen Logo item in the BIOS to [Enabled] before using ASUS MyLogo 2. • You can create your own boot logo image in GIF file format. To launch ASUS MyLogo 2: 1. Launch the ASUS Update utility. 2. Select Options from the drop-down menu, and then click Next. 3. Check Launch MyLogo to replace the system boot logo before flashing BIOS, and then click Next. 4. Select Update BIOS from a file from the drop-down menu, and then click Next. 5. Locate the new BIOS file, and then click Next. The ASUS MyLogo 2 window appears. 6. From the left window pane, select the folder that contains the image you intend to use as your boot logo. To launch ASUS MyLogo 2:
1.
Launch the ASUS Update utility.
2.
Select
Options
from the drop-down menu, and then click
Next
.
3.
Check
Launch MyLogo
to replace the system boot logo before flashing
BIOS, and then click
Next
.
4.
Select
Update BIOS from a file
from the drop-down menu, and then click
Next
.
5.
Locate the new BIOS file, and then click
Next
. The ASUS MyLogo 2 window
appears.
6.
From the left window pane, select the folder that contains the image you
intend to use as your boot logo.
Before using ASUS MyLogo 2, use the ASUS Update or AFUDOS utilities
to make a copy of your original BIOS file or obtain the latest BIOS version
from the ASUS website.
Set the Full Screen Logo item in the BIOS to [Enabled] before using ASUS
MyLogo 2.
