English USB 2.0 port This USB (Universal Serial Bus) port is compatible with USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 devices such as keyboards, pointing devices, flash disk drives, external HDDs, cameras and printers. USB 3.0 port This USB (Universal Serial Bus) port provides a transfer rate of up to 5Gbit/s and is backward compatible with USB2.0. This USB 3.0 port supports Device Share. Use this port for connecting the ASUS Link cable to another device such as a notebook PC or Android tablet. NOTE: For instructions on setting up Device Share, please refer to Using Device Share. Use this port for connecting the ASUS Link cable to another Windows® 8 PC. NOTE: For instructions on setting up Ai Crosslink, please refer to Using Ai Crosslink. Optical Drive The built-in optical drive may support compact discs (CD), digital video discs (DVD), and/or Blu-ray discs (BD), and recordable (R) or re-writable (RW) media. Consult product specifications for details on included optical drive. Optical disc drive eject button Press this button to eject the optical drive tray. Optical disc drive manual eject hole The manual eject hole is used to eject the drive tray in case the eject button does not work. WARNING! Use the manual eject hole only when the eject button does not work. Kensington® lock hole The Kensington® lock hole allows you to secure your PC using Kensington® compatible PC security products.
