2.5.3 The items in this menu allow you to change the USB-related features. The USB Devices item shows the auto-detected values. If no USB device is detected, the item shows None. USB Configuration Legacy USB Support [Enabled] [Enabled] [Disabled] [Auto] Enables the support for USB devices on legacy operating systems (OS). The USB devices can be used only for the BIOS setup program. Allows the system to detect the presence of USB devices at startup. If detected, the USB controller legacy mode is enabled. If no USB device is detected, the legacy USB support is disabled. Enables the support for operating systems without an EHCI hand‑off feature. Disables the function. EHCI Hand-off [Disabled] [Enabled] [Disabled] 2.5.4 NB Configuration IGFX Multi-Monitor [Disabled] Enables or disables the Internal Graphics Device Multi-Monitor support for add-on VGA devices And the memory size of Internal Graphics Device will keep memory reserved. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] Primary Video Device [PCIE / PCI Video] Integrated Graphics [Auto] Selects the primary display device. Configuration options: [IGFX Video] [PCIE / PCI Video] Enables the integrated graphics controller. Configuration options: [Auto] [Force] UMA Frame Buffer Size [Auto] This item appears only when you set the previous item to [Force]. Configuration options: [Auto] [32M] [64M] [128M] [256M] [384M] 2.5.5 [Enabled] [Disabled] Onboard Devices Configuration Enables the High Definition Audio Controller. Disables the controller. HD Audio Device [Enabled] The following two items appear only when you set the HD Audio Device item to [Enabled]. Front Panel Type [HD] Allows you to set the front panel audio connector (AAFP) mode to legacy AC'97 or highdefinition audio depending on the audio standard that the front panel audio module supports. [HD] Sets the front panel audio connector (AAFP) mode to high definition audio. [AC97] Sets the front panel audio connector (AAFP) mode to legacy AC'97. Chapter 2: BIOS information 2-19
