3.1 Installing an operating system The barebone system supports Windows® XP/Vista operating systems (OS). Always install the latest OS version and corresponding updates so you can maximize the features of your hardware. • Because motherboard settings and hardware options vary. Refer to your OS documentation for more information. • Ensure that you install Windows® XP Service Pack 3 /Windows® Vista Service Pack 1 before installing the drivers for better compatibility and system stability. 3.2 Powering up Press the system power button ( ) to enter the OS.
