4. Serial ATA connectors (7-pin SATA1-6) These connectors are for the Serial ATA signal cables for Serial ATA hard disk drives. You could use a USB floppy disk drive when installing Windows® XP operating system on a hard disk drive that includes a RAID/AHCI set. Refer to the bundled Support DVD for how to create a RAID/AHCI drive disk. • Due to Windows® XP limitation, Windows® XP may not recognize the USB floppy disk drive. • For more details on RAID/AHCI supplementary guide included in the folder named Manual in the support DVD. 5. Optical drive audio connector (4-pin CD) These connectors allow you to receive stereo audio input from sound sources such as a CD-ROM, TV tuner, or MPEG card.
